While joining a new school group naturally brings a few changes, it also gives us a wonderful chance to learn from each other. We are eager to welcome the incredible expertise, experience, and fresh ideas that the teams at Pioneer and Columbus bring to our community.
Every school has its own unique strengths, traditions, and successes. True collaboration is always a two-way street. We are not just expanding our organisation; we are embracing new perspectives that will help all of our schools grow and improve together.

We also want to share an exciting update regarding one of our current schools. Satellite School will officially change its name to Keystone after the October half-term break.
While some members of our community may have already heard whispers of this change, we want to reassure everyone that the school’s core values remain exactly the same. This fresh identity marks a positive new chapter as the school continues to provide excellent support and education for its students.
The decision to adopt the name Keystone reflects the school’s continuing evolution and ambition, while retaining its unwavering commitment to supporting children and young people to thrive.
The name was chosen to represent strength, support and the vital role the school plays in helping learners achieve success and overcome barriers to learning.
Further details regarding new uniforms, signage, and branding updates will be shared with parents and carers in the coming weeks.

The Bridge Trust is a unique Multi Academy Trust which consists of five special schools, two primary schools, a Training & Development Service and an Outreach Service.
The Bridge School is a large special school which provides for pupils with severe learning difficulties and/or autism. It is based on two sites, a Primary site and a Secondary site.
